Title: A
Return to Mobility after Multiple Surgeries.
Najim is a 19-year-old young man from Kabul who has
endured a long and difficult medical journey. He has undergone four surgeries
in Germany, yet continues to live with a lower limb deformity. Although the
deformity itself is not currently painful, previous complications—especially
exposed surgical staples and a pin tract infection—caused him severe pain and
discomfort.
Recently, he underwent another surgical procedure
in which the staples were removed, the wounds were thoroughly cleaned, and the
incision sites were carefully closed. To support his recovery and improve
alignment, a Knee-Foot Orthosis (KFO) has been prescribed.
Treatment Plan:
v Ongoing
monitoring of wound healing and prevention of infection
v Pain
management as needed
v Proper
use and adjustment of the KFO
v Regular
follow-ups to assess recovery and functional improvement
Outcome:
Najim is now on the road to recovery. With proper care and continued support,
there is strong hope for improved mobility and a better quality of life.
Support Message:
Najim still needs our help. With your support, he can access better care and
have a real chance at returning to a normal, active life. Every contribution
can make a meaningful difference.
