About the Organization:
“Children Need Us” is a registered charity organization in Afghanistan, officially recognized by the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Public Health. Established in 2001 by Mr. Markus Dewender, the organization supports orphaned, underprivileged, and vulnerable children through programs in education, healthcare, and emergency relief.
Project Overview:
The Cleft Lip & Palate Surgical Project provided free surgical treatment to children suffering from cleft lip and palate. Many of these children come from families unable to afford such complex medical procedures. The project addressed a critical health need, significantly improving the quality of life for the affected children.
